The Apprentice creator Mark Burnett is reportedly warning his employees both past and present against leaking tapes or information from the show to the press.

Ever since the audio leak from 2005 of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump saying he wanted to "grab women by the p----", there has been a slew of new leaks from the businessman's past. Many of these leaks have been in regard to Trump's behavior on set of The Apprentice, including sexist remarks and behavior against women.

There were reports that Burnett was prepared to sue employees who leaked Trump footage from his time on The Apprentice, though reps for Burnett said otherwise.

But now there's a new report stating that phone calls have been made from Burnett's team to his workers on The Apprentice. Multiple sources told The Daily Beast that they have received calls and while there may not be any threats of suing, they wanted to send a message.

"They're not dumb enough to put anything in email right now-people in [Burnett's circle] are on lockdown over this stuff," a former employee for The Apprentice said. "They didn't directly 'threaten' [legal action]... but the message was clear: Don't talk to the media, don't leak to reporters."

Another source, who had previously spoken with The Daily Beast under the guise of anonymity, said he received a call afterward.

"They don't know [for sure] that I did [talk to you], but they got in touch," this second source said. "Now don't call me ever again... Thank you."

Various Apprentice contestants, producers and crew members came forward to The Associated Press recently to reveal Trump's behavior towards women behind the scenes, very little of which was shown on the NBC show.

"If there was a break in the conversation, he would then look at one of the female cast members, saying 'you're looking kind of hot today, I love that dress on you,' then he would turn to one of the male cast members and say 'wouldn't you sleep with her?' and then everyone would laugh," a former crew member told the publication.
