It's been one year, seven months and 16 days of never-ending campaigning, media firestorming, and smear campaigns. We've seen nearly every major news outlet, celebrity and major public figure showcase who they're hoping will win the Presidential election. And today, it'll all finally be over.

Or will it? Donald Trump has repeatedly called this election rigged, and has flat-out said that he'll leave us in "suspense" over what his reaction will be should he lose the vote.

Regardless, today marks the most important election of our generation thus far. Here's what to expect to happen later today (after you cast in your vote, of course.)

The very first poll closures will be at 6PM ET, in Kansas. At 7:30PM, they close in North Carolina and Ohio. By 8, a good chunk of states will be closed, such as Michigan, Florida and Pennsylvania. The very last polls close at midnight ET in Alaska and Hawaii, and we should have a winner late tonight.

Regardless, this will all be over tonight.

Finally.
