Another Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade has officially drawn to a close, and once again the performance the marked the arrival of certain floats in Herald Square have proven to be impressive and a great way to festively usher in the holiday season.

The Broadway shows and other theatrical performances in particular managed to wow, strutting their stuff on the streets and in Herald Square. Here are our 3 favorite performances from the event:

Paramour by Cirque Du Soleil

This was an amazing performance of the Broadway show, bringing a legitimate circus to the parade, with stunts, flips, and insane choreography that has not been on the parade route yet.

The Radio City Rockettes

A staple for the parade, the group of dancers who are known for their own Radio City holiday spectacular failed to disappoint, tapping and kicking their way around Herald Square in special and wonderful fashion.

The Cast of Hairspray Live!

While they actually were not in Herald Square, or New York at all (their segment was filmed in advance in L.A. and broadcast), the cast's performance of "You Can't Stop The Beat" got us all excited for the telecast of the musical on NBC on Dec. 7, the third time in a row that the network has broadcast a live musical during the holidays.
