Selena Gomez has made her triumphant return to Instagram.

On Sunday night, Gomez attended the American Music Awards where she delivered an emotional speech after being awarded with the Best Female Artist: Pop/Rock at the event.

“If you are broken, you do not have to stay broken … whether you respect me or not, one thing you should know about is I care about people,” she said, as revealed by People Magazine.

Days later, Gomez posted a message to her fans and followers on Instagram.

"I have a lot to be thankful for this year.. My year has been the hardest yet most rewarding one yet. I've finally fought the fight of not 'being enough'. I have only wanted to reflect the love you guys have given me for years and show how important it is to take care of YOU. By grace through faith. Kindness always wins. I love you guys. God bless," she wrote on Thursday.

Gomez revealed she was struggling with anxiety, depression and panic attacks in August.

“She decided to clear her calendar for the year in order to have this be her priority for future happiness and didn’t want to leave any promoters at bay,” a source close to Gomez told People Magazine at the time. “She feels relieved that she can now make more sense of why she was feeling the way she was and is optimistic about the future.”
