After the successful run of "Stranger Things" Season 1, Netflix is now in the process for making Season 2. What can fans of the show expect when the show is released next year?

iTech Post reported that Millie Bobby Brown is said to return for "Stranger Things" Season 2 despite rumors that she will be leaving the show. However, there are still speculations that claim that she might not be part of the main cast anymore and be a guest star instead.

The producers of the show denied commenting as to when her character will appear in Season 2. Many speculations claim that it is more likely that she will appear in "Stranger Things" Season 2 Episode 7 which is titled "The Secret Cabin."

On the other hand, News Everyday reported that producers also confirmed that there will be new characters joining the show. Max (Sadie Sink) and Billy (Dacre Montgomery) will be two of the new characters to be introduced in Season 2. Max and Billy are siblings but there is still no other information as to how their roles will play in the mysteries in the show.

Max was described as a confident girl who is kind of boyish based on her appearance and behavior. It was also said that she has a complicated history and she is "generally suspicious of those around her."

Executive producer Shawn Levy said that "Stranger Things" Season 2 will introduce  "a handful of really compelling new characters." He added that these new characters are really intriguing and viewers will likely be interested to knowing them.

It was also said that because of the maturation of the young actors in the show, "Stranger Things" Season 2 will begin one year after the events in the Season 1 finale. The Duffer brothers, who are also the creators of the show, said that they will explain this time jump to the viewers by putting some of the pieces together in Season 2.

As of writing Netflix has yet to announce the official release of "Stranger Things" Season 2 but it is expected to be sometime in 2017 and it will have a total of nine episodes.
