Trinity Place Department Store (TPDS) is celebrating its roots and going "Home Grown".  Under New Management, the 20,000square foot retail space located just steps from the Historic Trinity Church in lower Manhattan is executing an "All American" approach.  From high-end hats and handbags to ready-to-wear; jewelry, scarves and more- everything on offer is Made in America.

With downtown NYC enjoying an exciting revival due to the opening of the Freedom Tower, the Oculus subway station and the 911 Memorial Museum, locals and tourists alike are flocking to the city's tip.  A plethora of fashion books, banks and other businesses have also set-up shop in the vicinity making for some phenomenal foot traffic.

While the recently opened luxury shopping center, Brookfield Place has opted to feature the traditional Gucci, Paul Smith, Hermes and more; and the Oculus the likes of Breitling, Hugo Boss and Dior, the new team at Trinity Place is taking a different approach.

"We are located so close to the 911 Memorial Museum and the Freedom Tower- we want to celebrate the best of America," explains TPDS Creative Director and Curator, Marie Berard.  "We have searched far and wide for the most exciting American talent spanning the fashion, accessories and jewelry categories and feel excited to share all of these wonderful designers' works with the world."

Thus far, the first floor has almost completely converted to Made in America, with the second and third to follow in the next series of months. Featured brands include RTW from Luba GnaSevych and Kristi Vosbeck-  Reija Eden and Hovey Lee Jewelry, Vint & York Eyewear, Guy Carsone Millinary Lorrarivers handbags and much more.  TPDS is showcasing over 35 brands spanning all fashion categories.  Prices range from $30 - $1000.
