Brad Pitt was allegedly looking forward to spending some time with his six kids after a restful trip to Turks and Caicos over Thanksgiving, but his plans to see them over the weekend were reportedly destroyed when estranged wife Angelina Jolie unexpectedly canceled his visitation.

Pitt spent the Thanksgiving holiday with a friend at the Amanyara Villas in Turks and Caicos, People reported, but he returned early on Saturday because of an agreement to see his children-Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. However, according to In Touch, Jolie canceled the visit last minute, which infuriated her ex.

"he got back late Saturday afternoon and called to arrange the drop-off. He was told there would be no visit because Angie had changed her mind," a source told the magazine. "Brad was very angry and disappointed. [He] wanted to have a belated gathering at his house on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend."

It was news the actor, who has previously been reported as being "unhappy" with the custody arrangement at the moment and trying to see his kids more, likely did not like hearing, and the source warns that the custody battle he and Jolie will become engaged in over the next few months is only going to get more ugly, because she refuses to agree to joint custody.

"Angie is still fighting Brad for sole custody," the source continued. "And it's going to get even more brutal."

Things were already tense for the pair as they fought over custody of the kids because of an investigation into whether or not Pitt was abusive to the kids, following an alleged altercation with Maddox during a flight from France a week before Jolie filed for divorce. He has since been cleared in investigations conducted by both the Department of Family Services as well as the FBI.
