It appears that Brad Pitt's inability to see his kids with Angelina Jolie much since the pair split in September has to do with what is determined by a therapist who specializes in child custody agreements.

According to TMZ, Jolie has filed documents which give more details on the temporary custody deal they struck last month, where she has primary custody and Pitt gets monitored visits, and it appears the visitation is determined by a psychologist, Ian Russ Ph.D, who specializes in child custody issues.

The docs reveal that the "frequency and conditions of the therapeutic visitation shall be determined by Ian Russ, ph.D,' and also state that the famous exes must also participate in group therapy sessions with their six children-Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. In addition, Pitt will submit to random durg and alcohol tests as least four times per month, and the terms of the deal must stay in place until either a court order or both Jolie and Pitt agree to change it.

A judge signed off on the agreement last week, though it was initially arranged back when Pitt was still under investigation by the Department of Child and Family Services for alleged child abuse, though he was cleared in that investigation, as well as one by the FBI.

The custody battle between the two stars has been the focus of their divorce battle, and things seemed particularly tense over the recent holiday weekend, when Pitt initially spent some time in Turks and Caicos but then arrived back in the U.S. to see his kids, only to find out his visit had been cancelled, at the time, allegedly by Jolie.

"He got back late Saturday afternoon and called to arrange the drop-off," sources said at the time. " He was told there would be no visit because Angie had changed her mind. Brad was very angry and disappointed. [He] wanted to have a belated gathering at his house on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend."
