It's that dreaded time of the season on The Voice where eight artists will become four - so who will survive and who will get the axe? Let's break it down.

All eight of the remaining artists on The Voice competed for the public vote Monday night, hoping to score a spot in next week's finale. Only half will advance, with the three top vote-getters advancing automatically, two being instantly eliminated and the middle three competing for that one final spot.

Based on the iTunes results and their respective fanbases, it seems likely that Team Adam's Billy Gilman and Team Blake's Sundance Head will be taking up two spots in the finale, with just about everyone else having a chance of getting those last two spots.

Gilman and Head made it all the way to the top two spots on iTunes overnight, but a few artists were right on their tails. Team Adam's Josh Gallagher, who sang "Danny's Song", got up to no. 3 while Team Alicia's Christian Cuevas, who performed "To Worship You I Live (Away)", got to no. 4. This means that like Gilman and Head, their votes on iTunes are multiplied by five.

As such, one of them will very likely take that third spot. Based on hype and versatility, we think Christian will get that final spot, but Josh could very well surprise.

On the flip side, Team Miley's underdog Aaron Gibson, who has won each of the past three Instant Saves, probably won't be so lucky this time around. He peaked at no. 44 on the iTunes chart, well below everyone else and will almost definitely be eliminated. But who will join him in the unlucky instantly eliminated group?

Team Alicia's Wé McDonald has been a frontrunner all season and while she made it up to no. 12 with "Scars to Your Beautiful", her inability to make it to the top 10 makes her spot in the finale uncertain. We think that she will avoid being instantly eliminated thanks to her strong fanbase, but she may have to compete for the Instant Save - at which point she would very likely secure a place in the finale.

The two biggest question marks are Team Adam's Brendan Fletcher and Team Miley's Ali Caldwell. Both have had highs and lows in the competition and it's not entirely clear how strong either of their fanbases are, so while they could each have strong Instant Save performances, they're also in real danger of being instantly eliminated.

Ultimately, we think Billy and Sundance are locked for the finale with Christian as the very likely third contender. Aaron will be instantly eliminated, while Ali will probably join him at the bottom. This would leave Miley Cyrus with no more artists. Then for the Instant Save, we think Wé will nail it with a strong song and win over Josh and Brendan.

But anything can happen on The Voice stage. What do you think?
