The premiere of the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War as next main installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still a couple of years away. However, new reports are now claiming that shooting for the film has actually already begun. With rumors of the show already being in production, the Russo brothers, Anthony and Joe, have now released a new video which all but confirms the claims.

The directors of the upcoming sequel to 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron released a new video that apparently shows them creating a prop for the movie itself. The video, labeled only as "Infinity prop," doesn't really seem to clearly show what was being made.

From the looks of it, the video seems to be of a liquid-based 3D printing process that utilizes lasers to solidify layers of plastic. The method is commonly used by jewelers, which further hints at what it could likely be.

The combination of the laser lights, the liquid and the process itself looks cosmic in nature, seemingly fitting the overall theme of the upcoming film. The new movie will be focusing on the main antagonist, Thanos, as he continues his search for the six infinity stones in order to finally complete his Infinity Gauntlet.

With the production of Avengers: Infinity War now apparently already underway, it should only be a matter of time until the cast members themselves start arriving in Atlanta. For fans who are waiting for possible set photos, there might not be much to see at all.

The movie itself might mostly be taking place in outer space. This means that majority of the filming will likely be inside the studio and in front of green screens.

As for the video itself, several fans commented their take on what the prop could be, with some claiming that it could likely be the Infinity Gauntlet itself. Others however, seems to think that it some sort of miniature figure.

Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled to be released on May 4, 2018.
