The winner of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice was announced in New York Sunday night in a live season finale.

With country music singer Trace Adkins and illusionist/comedian Penn Jillette as the last two in the game, Adkins took the win.

Donald Trump acknowledged Adkins for his efforts, saying, "Trace clearly demonstrated that he has what it takes to be a winner."

"Trace is a star all the way and now joins Piers Morgan, Joan Rivers, Bret Michaels, John Rich and Arsenio Hall as winners of the toughest reality show on television today," he added.

Trump also acknowledged Penn by calling him an "impressive" player.

Both Adkins and Jillette won cash for charity. According to USA Today, Adkins, who raised $1,553,072 for the American Red Cross, will receive the $250,000 prize. Jillette, meanwhile, raised $598,655 for Opportunity Village. Trump awarded contestant Lil Jon $100,000 for his charity, the American Diabetes Association.

Upon accepting his win, Adkins said, "Sometimes in life we begin a task wondering if it's the right thing to do."

"Tonight," he added, "I can proudly say that competing on the show a second time ended up being a very good thing. I was honored to play for the American Red Cross…They deserve this bonus check for $250,000 from Mr. Trump.”

Adkins also acknowledged the Nashville community for their contributions.
