Selena Gomez News: Nick Jonas May Be In Her Secret New Year Wish List

The 24-year-old singer, Selena Gomez, seems to be sending some feelers to Nick Jonas, according to rumors. She had a brief fling with him in 2008.

The pair might just give their romance another chance, according to IB Times.

"Nick has been texting [Selena Gomez] lots of sweet poems and memes to make her laugh," an insider told Life & Style magazine.

Moreover, Selena Gomez has also been "hitting [Nick] up a lot." Still, Jonas is not totally sure whether he would like a relationship, as Selena Gomez needs to show that she is serious about it.

It was earlier this month that some hints of a relationship were dropped, when Selena Gomez posted a photograph of herself smearing some eyeliner. Nick Jonas wrote a comment on the photograph, which was shared by songwriter Justin Tranter. Jonas put up a "praising hands" emoji.

During the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, they had met briefly, which made Selena Gomez recall their teenage relationship She said it was "really fun" to catch up with him. She called their link "very sweet."

However, there is no word about getting back at present. Some sources say that The Hands to Myself singer, Selena, is not interested in making up or dating for a while.

None of these rumors tend to really lead to anything. Niall Horan was another singer that Selena has been linked with, apart from Justin Bieber. However, she has never indicated any willingness or readiness to get into any romance with any of them.

Currently, she is more interested in focusing on her music and album releases. It was last June that she tweeted: "After a few weeks in the studio bus safe to say. We are VERY close to album #2 #SG2."

However, her later struggles with her mental health and clocking into a rehab outlet when Selena Gomez was suffering with Lupus made her postpone her album. There just doesn't seem to be too much space or time in her life for boyfriends, if one looks at her daily routine through another angle.
