‘Vikings’ Season 4 Episode 17: Lagertha’s Death Might Not Happen Despite Seer’s Prediction [Spoilers]

"Vikings" Season 4 Episode 17 just keeps on making the fans excited as thrilling events continue to complete the plot of the said hit series. Following Ragnar Lothbrok's demise played by Travis Fimmel, speculations started to swirl that another major character will also die as the season's finale draws near.

As per International Business Times, the death of Lothbrok will be followed by the death of another major character. With the turn of events in the story, it looks like people now have a clue of who is that character and they are all pointing to Lagertha considering that she is also the one in peril.

"Vikings" Season 4 Episode 17 is still about to be aired but it already fuels a lot of speculations most especially with the fate of the characters. And rumors are rife that Katheryn Winnick's character will soon meet its demise.

To enlighten and to give a hint to the fans and to the viewers of the show, Winnick entertained questions on her Twitter account. When one of her fans asked this question, she just responded that the plot of "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 17 will follow what really took place in the history. Therefore, if her character will be until there only, then fans got no choice but to expect that somehow.

However, according to Michael Hirst, the showrunner, "Lagertha" and her role in the story is very crucial. He added that she is the soul of the series and her presence will really be essential. With this, he even gave hints that he might change the course of history. If this is the case, there is a possibility that Katheryn Winnick will still be there giving life to her character as Lagertha.

As he also quipped and as mentioned by TV Guide, Hirst does not care if there are many of the male characters who will be killed in the "Vikings" Season 4 Episode 17 but if they do anything to Lagertha, they should really be bothered.

 But it looks like modifying the story rarely happens since Hirst does no write fancy things like what he shared but what is directly portrayed in history.
