While a majority of Castle fans heavily approve of the relationship between Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic), there are undoubtedly several loyalists on the fence about whether or not the couple should kick off the Season 6 engaged.

Actress Susan Sullivan, who plays the part of Castle's mother on the program, weighed in on the highly appropriate topic to TV Guide recently.

"What woman in her right mind would say no to him?  Therein would lie the problem: I may actually have to move out.  Yikes!"

Molly Quinn, who dons the role of Castle's daughter Alexis, also chimed in on Beckett, but on what she would bring to the table in a more family oriented atmosphere.

"She would see Beckett as an equal and she would totally appreciate [her].  But I don't think Beckett would ever try to [parent].  Alexis is an adult now.  She's 20.  If this happened when Alexis was 16, that would have been a totally different story.  I'm very glad that it didn't happen because that would have been a lot of rebellion and a lot of trouble."

If Beckett were to say no to Castle's proposal, Carter Matt suspected that the respective answer wouldn't be a definite answer.  However, due to the tension that existed between the two toward the backend of Season 5, it appears that anything is possible in terms of the scenario.

Castle is slated to return in the fall for its sixth installment.  Keep checking back for more of the latest details on the popular ABC series.
