The Walking Dead Season 7 will have an entirely different scene once the show returns next month. When The Walking Dead Season 7 premiered last year, there was a high degree of anticipation and excitement among viewers.

Everyone wanted to know who did Negan kill but they had no idea the deaths would be so many in number and so gruesome. No wonder, the ratings dipped. However, things are set to change when the zombie series returns after the current hiatus.

Actor Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, has hinted at killing the menacing Negan, reports DailyExpress. Reedus told Entertainment Weekly that Daryl is ready to kill Negan. He is raging for revenge and will be entering the next chapter in kill mode. According to him, when he went back in that last episode and handed Rick back his stuff he was saying that they should go and beat that guy up.

The actor said that he felt like Daryl spent his time in the hole thinking about Glenn and Abraham. He took it very personally and felt like it was his fault and he deserves what he was getting.

However, it is over and now he is out to kill everybody and has got his sights set on Negan. Reedus said that he thinks that audiences are going to start to see a little fear in the eyes of the bad guys. He has been walking tall long enough wielding his Lucille around but now, it is time to bring him down a notch.

Negan would not have a smooth run as he had had all this time. According to executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, Rick and gang have found their mojo again, claims Digital Spy. They are going to work on rising up against Negan and doing it right this time. In the last season, they underestimated his strength and how nefarious a leader he was. They are not going to do that again.

Notably, for the entire first half of Season 7, Daryl languished in a tiny cell, eating dog food but the last episode brought some relief for the Alexandrians as Daryl and Rick got back together and it looked every bit like things would change. Well, given that Scott Gimple has also said that the second part of The Walking Dead Season 7 would be very different, one has every reason to hope for better times.

The Walking Dead Season 7 returns on February 12 on AMC. Watch the official teaser below.
