The Yalu jailbreak for iOS 10.2 was reportedly updated earlier to beta 6 to and basically works on any 64-bit firmware. But apparently, the jailbreak is not working suitably well with iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPad Air and iPad Mini 4. However, just recently Beta 7 was released to add backing to iPad Air 2 as well as iPad Mini 4.

According to redmondpie, the Beta 7 release immediately follow the beta 2-beta 6 releases, all of which were recently out in quick succession that authentically added support for iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s and some other 64-bit iPad models.  Apparently, the initial version of the tool only supported iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, SE and iPad Pro. Those with iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are advised to stay on iOS 10.1.1 as that is currently the only version of iOS which can be jailbroken on the said devices. But accordingly, just like Mach_Portal+Yalu it will only work on iOS 10.1.1, as the feats used in yalu102 iOS 10.2 jailbreak will not work on the latest models of Apple.

As further expounded by redmondpie, not only did iOS 10.2 bring in many new features, but it also mended lots of bugs that hindered the exploits of hackers to sample their jailbreaks on the initial versions of iOS 10.

In the post of iphonehacks, accordingly the jailbreak also has Cydia and Cydia Substrate patched in that allows easy downloading and installation of tweaks. However, since apparently, the Yalu jailbreak is in beta, this might create issues on the device that is being installed with.

It is reported that apparently with iOS 10.2.1 already released, and with Apple already testing iOS 10.3, it is highly recommended to downgrade to iOS 10.2 to be able to jailbreak. And accordingly, for devices supported by yalu102 on iOS 10.2, the latest Beta 7 version should be downloaded.
