Alec Baldwin is set to host Saturday Night Live tonight in what is sure to be one of the most memorable shows of the year.

It's no secret that Baldwin's portrayal of President Donald Trump has gotten under the latter's skin. Trump has tweeted and talked about Baldwin's impression of him several times, ever since the actor debuted it in the Oct. 1 premiere.

Baldwin will now take over as host for tonight's episode of SNL, and even those who don't regularly watch the show will likely tune in. With reports of the president and the administration becoming rattled about Melissa McCarthy's portrayal of Press Secretary Sean Spicer last weekend, there's no telling what the show's writers will do this week to make him seethe.

There were rumors that decade-long rival Rosie O'Donnell might portray Trump's chief strategist Steve Bannon to really grind his gears, but the actress' rep told Vanity Fair the appearance would not happen. Regardless, the SNL writers likely have something special in store to lampoon the Trump administration.

Ed Sheeran is the musical guest for tonight's SNL, with this being his second appearance. The singer-songwriter will likely perform his two new singles, "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill", off his new album, Divide.

Tonight's SNL begins at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and lasts until approximately 1 a.m. ET/PT. For those who cannot watch it on television but still want to watch it live, you can watch it through the NBC live stream. All you'll need is a cable subscription. NBC is also available for cord-cutters on Sling TV. Choose the Sling Blue option for NBC and subscribe for a free trial.
