This year, the most awaited American epic space opera film and second installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, "Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi", is going to be released on the big screens and fans definitely could not wait any longer. In relation to this, several updates have been appearing on the web regarding on what the fans might expect on the upcoming film.

Recently, it has been on multiple reports that there has been a leakage reportedly containing the trailer for "Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi." According to Express UK, the leaked trailer reportedly included scenarios with Luke Skywalker and a character with a black clothing, which was assumed to be The Man in Black.

It was also reported that the trailer for "Star Wars: Episode VIII" will give focus on new characters and give a little exposure for the original Star Wars characters. Moreover, the start for the trailer will apparently be just as the same with the trailer for the previous installment, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." It will reportedly start with stormtrooper, Finn, portrayed by John Boyega, who will wake up from a comatose.

Even though these were not yet confirmed if true, fans of "Star Wars: Episode VIII" already have tidbits of ideas on what to expect on the upcoming movie. The official trailer to be released by Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Studios is not going to be shown until April this year, so the leaked video has really given the fans and viewers a big update.

Meanwhile, on a report from Comic Book, Disney CEO, Bob Iger, has reportedly enjoyed watching the early viewing for "Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi." As per the source, Iger has been praising the upcoming movie especially on its production, regardless the film being ten months away from release.

Iger also reportedly hinted on the upcoming scenarios that fans should be looking out for. A connection between "Star Wars: Episode VIII" characters, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) has already been confirmed. This time, fans have been hugely speculating that Rey's father is possibly Luke Skywalker. In the meantine, fans are only considering this as a speculation, until they watch the upcoming film themselves this year.

"Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi" is due for a December 15, 2017 release.
