The CW's science-fiction superhero action drama series, "Supergirl", is set to air another exciting episode from its second season next week. A new extended trailer for this season's thirteenth episode has already been released and loyal viewers are quick to peek into it.

On the most recent episode of "Supergirl" season 2 aired just a few days ago, fans saw Lena (Katie McGrath), Lillian (Brenda Strong) and Lex Luthor in the series preparing for what viewers would like to refer as pre-invasion stuff on this season. As bad guys in the series, their presence was reportedly one that made the twelfth episode complete.

As it can be recalled, as reported by Comic Book, Supergirl/Kara (Melissa Benoist) dealt with Lillian Luthor after breaking out of prison. As per the source, the Luthors appearance on "Supergirl" season 2 reportedly made the series back on its track after having lost its focus on its storyline during its past few episodes. Fans apparently felt the show is complete again with the mentioned characters on it.

Aside from this, the previous episode also showed one unforgettable scenario that involved "Supergirl" season 2's most mischievous character, Mr. Mxyzptlk, portrayed by Peter Gadiot. As it can be remembered, the trickster confessed his love for Kara/Supergirl at her apartment, just in time after the latter also exchanged confession of feelings with Mon-El/Mike Matthews, played by Chris Wood.

According to Comic Book Movie, the new extended promo for next week's episode of "Supergirl" season 2 will see Kara's response on Mr. Mxyzptlk's confession. He will reportedly propose to the superhero but fans have been speculating that there is no way that Kara will give him a chance, knowing that she does not want anything to do with the trickster at all.

However, despite this scenario bound to happen, the thirteenth episode of "Supergirl" season 2 will still show Mr. Mxyzptlk's effort to try to in Kara's heart. Aside from the wedding dress, he will reportedly even use his power to create a very romantic proposal to impress her.
