All the fans of Marvel vs. Capcom series who have been waiting for the latest installment have somewhat of an official release date to pin their hopes on. "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will be releasing in late 2017. What is more, Capcom director has shared some interesting details about the upcoming game.

Capcom producer Tomoaki Ayano has said that "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will be releasing in late 2017, Game Rant reported. This makes sense as the release would then take place exactly in the middle of the fall gaming rush season. Since "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" is one of the most-anticipated titles of 2017, the timing seems appropriate as it would be able to capitalize on the frenzy of the gamers.

Though Ayano did not give out the specific release date of "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite", it is expected to be revealed at the E3 event scheduled to be held in June. Also, "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" was first unveiled during the PlayStation experience, and thus, fans can look forward to the E3 showcase to take place during the press conference of Sony at the show. Some PlayStation-exclusive perks might also be revealed at the event.

In related news, Capcom director has shared some important details about the upcoming game. According to Den of Geek, "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will have 2 vs. 2 battles instead of 3 vs. 3 that one saw in the past installment. To make this possible, Capcom will be adding a few new gameplay features. This includes the ability to utilize Infinity Stones and each of it will provide unique powers to the combatants.

Not only this, he has also hinted about "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" campaign mode being stronger when it is launched later this year.
