Sophie Turner, the actress who is playing as Sansa Stark, may have potentially spoiled the fans about her character in "Game of Thrones" season 7. As it turns out, it seems like Sansa is not going to get chopped off, stabbed or even beheaded next season.

The potential "Game of Thrones" season 7 spoiler was spilled during Turner's brief talk with HeyUGuys at the 2017 British Academy Film Awards last weekend. She talked about her current schedule with her movies as well as filming for the HBO hit series.

"We're about to start shooting the next X-Men, we've just finished shooting season 7 of [Game of] Thrones, and I've got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts," Turner said at the gathering. "And then we go on to season 8."

Fans of Sansa will find this latest news delightful knowing that her character is more likely to survive "Game of Thrones" season 7. The reason being is that she has gone through so much ever since the first season up to the latest, and many are hoping to see her take the throne from the current rule of King's Landing, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), as speculations suggested.

Turner's comment on the interview, however, doesn't confirm nor deny Sansa's survival in "Game of Thrones" season 7. There is a slight chance that she might get killed next season and may have to return for season 8 to film flashback scenes.

With all that said, it's ideal to take this speculation with a tiny pinch of salt until the show officially returns on HBO. No official word yet coming from the company as to when "Game of Thrones" season 7 would premiere, but reports believe that it could happen sometime later this year, probably around summer. More news about the matter should emerge in the coming months.
