Conleth Hill, the actor behind the mysterious character Varys, who is also referred to sometimes as the Spider, may have just revealed an interesting turn of event in "Game of Thrones" season 7. The event involves a potential meeting between his character and Petyr Baelish a.k.a Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen).

Hill, when asked by The Huffington Post earlier this month, admitted that this potential meeting of the two in "Game of Thrones" season 7 is very interesting. "I can tell you that I loved working with Aidan Gillen, and I can tell you that it's possible we work together again, but not definite," the actor said.

Varys and Baelish are, undoubtedly, two of the greatest manipulators in the series. The latter has already proven his manipulation skills in "Game of Thrones" season 6 while the former, however, remains to be a great mystery.

To refresh the memories, Baelish, in "Game of Thrones" season 6, was revealed to be responsible for the War of the Five Kings. It all began when Littlefinger manipulated and convinced Lysa Tully (Kate Dickie) to poison her husband, Jon Arryn, the first Hand of the King to Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy), and put the blame to House Lannister.

Varys, on the other hand, has yet to rear his true motives behind all the events of "Game of Thrones." However, there are some circulating speculations suggesting that he is only doing this for the greater good of the realm.

As for the two characters' meeting, it seems like there may be a slim chance that this might happen. Late last year, set photos from the "Game of Thrones" season 7 shoot were released online that showed Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) on the same filming location. It fueled many speculations that these two leaders will eventually cross each others' paths next season.

As what fans may remember, Varys is now working on the side of Daenerys while Baelish is currently offering his support to Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) who is now reunited with his half-brother, Jon Snow. This technically puts Baelish in Jon Snow's side, which is the right ingredient for his meeting with The Spider.

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that all of these speculations will work out perfectly in "Game of Thrones" season 7. At this point, it would be best to take these with a tiny pinch of salt and consider it as mere theories until proven otherwise.
