With one more episode line up before its winter finale, NBC's crime drama action thriller series "The Blacklist" is returning next week to hopefully give the fans what they have been asking for. Bigger revelations are expected to be disclosed and several updates have been appearing to give viewers a sneak peek.

On the previous episode of "The Blacklist" season 4, the identity of the character whom Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) has been tracking into, was not yet known. Instead, the episode featured Aram Mojtabai (Amir Arison), a skilled technician hired by the FBI, to have been enlisted by the agency to go undercover to help them track down a brand new blacklister.

The blacklister from the previous episode of "The Blacklist" season 4 has "The Architect" as an organization name and it was reportedly headed to do some serious crimes. Aram was unsurprisingly very skilled on his job as a hacker and putting him as a front guy on the case was truly loved by many fans. Despite not revealing the character who is messing with Red's operation, it is reportedly very likely that the upcoming episode will reveal this.

According to TV Fanatic, it has been hugely speculated that Mr. Kaplan (Susan Blommaert) might be the one who is sabotaging Red on his operations. As per the source, the character has known the ins and outs of Red's operations on "The Blacklist" season 4, including some details on case files knowing that she is his personal 'cleaner.'

Moreover, the source predicted that this revelation will be seen on the upcoming midseason finale of "The Blacklist" season 4 set to air next week. Aside from that, a showdown between Red and Mr. Kaplan is reportedly highly expected.

Another scenario that fans and viewers might expect on the upcoming episode is Red trying to save his own life from imminent danger. Carter Matt reported that the official synopsis released for next week's episode of "The Blacklist" season 4 suggested that the task force from the FBI tries hard to save Red's life after a deadly poison has entered his system.

"The Blacklist" season 4 episode 15 airs February 23, 2017, on NBC.
