"Civilization 6" players are getting worried ever since speculations about the cessation of DLCs and updates in the game began circulating on the internet. Although it is really possible that Firaxis Games might push through with those speculations and begin a new venture, the popularity of "Civilization 6" is also hard to discount.

Before "Civilization 6" players wage an online petition to respond to the possible end of the game, it's good to know that the sixth installment in the franchise won't be ending anytime soon. According to VG24/7, players can put their worry to rest as "Civilization 6" will still be getting Steam Workshop support and mod tools.

Considering that "Civilization 6" was only released last Oct. 2016, the game is still considered to be a newbie. While it already had its fair share of rants and raves from actual players, it's good to know that the game developers are hearing out the complaints and criticisms about the game.

In fairness to "Civilization 6" modders, the base game is already interesting and praise-worthy on its own. However, the upcoming official mod tools are expected to make the game play more accessible while the Steam Workshop support will give the players an easier experience in finding and installing "Civilization 6" mods. "Civilization 6" was one of the best-selling games on Steam in 2016 so it would be a waste if Firaxis Games will give up on the game as early as now.

As of now, the promised "Civilization 6" mods and tools are still apparently in process. The latest "Civilization 6" news about its upcoming mods were mostly posted on Jan. Up until now, no follow up news or updates have been released about it.

According to PC Gamer, Firaxis Games has confirmed in Jan. that "Civilization 6" mods and updates are coming. The said news was announced via livestream on Twitch. What "Civilization 6" mods and DLCs would you like to see in the upcoming update? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
