As reported by Deadline, "Fifty Shades Darker" was able to pull in $277 million dollars in ticket sales globally. Apart from this, the movie is still holding on to the number one spot at the box office with sales of &43.7 million dollars during its February 17th weekend.

Some even believe that the movie is doing better than what the first film did during its first outing. Because of this, many assumed that this second instalment might be able to pull in more money that the first movie since it dominated most box offices around the world.

However, a lot were surprised that "Fifty Shades Darker" which starred Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson was able to exceed the people's expectations. Some even shared that the second film is more difficult to watch than the first one and it people mocked it.
