According to Entertainment Weekly, Joonas Suotamo is a Finnish actor who graduated from Pennsylvania State with a Bachelor's Degree. At 6'' 10', Suotamo also played basketball and is a perfect fit for the big Wookiee in "Star Wars" Han Solo Movie.

In a statement he released in Twitter, Joonas Suotamo expressed his gratitude and excitement over his Chewbacca role in "Star Wars" Han Solo Movie. The 30-year-old actor even mentioned how much he loves being part of something he has loved since he was a child.

Joonas Suotamo also paid tribute to Peter Mayhew, who has inspired joy with his astounding portrayal of Chewbacca. He also mentioned how Mayhew guided him in "Star Wars" Han Solo Movie. Han Solo's sidekick has truly become one of the most popular characters in films.

The "Star Wars" Han Solo Movie will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Both are outstanding directors of famous movies like 21 Jump Street and The Lego Movie. Meanwhile, the script will be taken care of by Lawrence Kasdan and his son, Jon Kasdan.

"Star Wars" Han Solo Movie release date will be on December 13, 2018.
