The winners of the Oscar 2017 have finally been revealed. Emma Stone won the Best Actress for "La La Land," which was mistakenly announced as the Best Picture. Fans are curious where Andrew Garfield was during his former girlfriend's acceptance speech.

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have already run into each other throughout the award season. Before the Oscars 2017, the couple was seen at the AFI Awards and even at the BAFTA.

Andrew Garfield was reported by Pop Sugar to be sitting in front and at the center as Emma Stone delivers her speech. As expected, the Oscar 2017 Best Actress winner thanked her family and friends. She also thanked her co-star Ryan Gosling, of course, saying that he has always made her laugh.

Andrew Garfield was a Best Actor nominee for "Hacksaw Ridge." He lost to Casey Affleck for "Manchester By The Sea." This is not the first time the 33 year old actor has been at the Academy Awards, but this is the first time he has an Oscar nominee according to ET Online. In an interview, he said that the experience - referring to the nomination, not Emma Stone - was surreal and very weird.

Andrew Garfield was not thinking too much about winning in Oscar 2017. As he said during the interview, "I'd be happy staying in my seat all night and applauding and looking at the beautiful people onstage." Maybe it was enough to see Emma Stone giving her Best Actress award speech.

Aside from Andrew Garfield for "Hacksaw Ridge," other Oscar 2017 nominees for the Best Actor are Ryan Gosling for "La La Land," Viggo Mortensen for "Captain Fantastic" and Denzel Washington for "Fences." Emma Stone bested other nominees for the Best Actress award like Isabelle Huppert for "Elle," Ruth Negga for "Loving," Natalie Portman for "Jackie" and Meryl Streep for "Florence Foster Jenkins."
