"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 will be taking on a darker avatar as it moves into the third pod episodes. The new poster of the ABC show catches attention with the presence of hydra tentacle in the background and signals more sinister drama in the coming episodes.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 is slated to come back in April with the third pod of episodes and it is going to be darker. According to ET, the new poster of the ABC television series shows the evil Hydra glowing green in the background and it has led to dark speculations. Notably, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 has already moved into the darkest timeline and it will usher in the "New World Order" soon.

If fans remember, Chloe Johnson, who plays Daisy Johnson, had said in January that the final episodes of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 will blow people's minds. She had said that everything fans know about the show is going to turn upside down and it is really a fun way to mix the show. Well, the last episode saw Daisy and Simmons as the only humans after the takeover of Life Model Decoy (LMD). It showed an alternate reality that did turn things upside down.

It revealed that SHIELD was storing a ton of LMDs in Daisy's garb, Comicbook claimed. The LMD May engineered an explosive sacrifice to prevent real Daisy and Simmons from journeying into the framework to save their friends. However, there are very dim chances of all getting destroyed.

This is because executive producer Jed Whedon has also hinted about seeing Daisy LMD when the show returns in April. He said that when "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 4 returns, viewers will get to know how big of an explosion it really was. Well, it is not known if May completely destroyed all the LMDs or not. It could be that some agents are trapped in the parallel world.
