Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are reportedly giving their marriage another shot, according to sources.

While Affleck and Garner were separated and on the path to an official divorce, the couple has apparently decided to try reconciling.

"Jen has called off the divorce," a source familiar with Garner told People recently. "She really wants to work things out with Ben. They are giving things another try."

A different source familiar with both Affleck and Garner suggested that it was actually a mutual decision. "There is always a chance of reconciliation. They love each other. They also really, really love their kids, and those kids love their parents," they said.

Affleck and Garner previously announced their separation in June 2015, though they have reportedly been living together on and off while parenting their kids, Violet, Sera and Sam. It was revealed in mid-February that Garner had been gearing up to file for divorce.

"No matter what happens, Ben and Jen are committed to raising their family as one unit and will continue to do so as it has worked for them," a source close to the family told Us Weekly at the time. "They are both committed to their family." The couple met on the set of Pearl Harbor in 2001 and ultimately married in 2005.

It's been a rough year for Affleck overall, so this is some welcome good news for the actor. Affleck starred in the financially successful but critically panned Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and there were many memes made about the actor being "sad" during the film's press tour. Then there was Live by Night, which he directed and starred in, a film that flopped at the box office with only $10 million earned domestically.

Meanwhile, Garner has starred in many family friendly films over the past few years, including Miracles from Heaven, Nine Lives, The Odd Life of Timothy Green and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.
