Ryan Murphy has confirmed to Andy Cohen that "American Horror Story" Season 7 will revolve around the 2016 presidential election. Fans are quick to speculate that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will be the main characters. However, the show's creator said that the two 2016 presidential candidates will be portrayed but not as the main stars. The plot will just jump off from the controversial election according to Yahoo News.

"American Horror Story" Season 7 will be about allegory, and Ryan Murphy believes that election is also an allegory. "I think people literally think Sarah Paulson is playing Hillary Clinton, and I wanted to clarify that that is not true," he said in an interview by E! Online. Ryan Murphy continues to say that the election that the Americans just went through was like a horror story to both camps.

"American Horror Story" Season 7 is already halfway written according to Ryan Murphy, but he has not yet cast his Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton characters. He promises the viewers that the story, which will jump off on the election night, will be really full of fun. The thriller drama will have a lot of people to be interested in and that there is something for everybody in that season.
