The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has officially been unveiled at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) at Barcelona, Spain. And weeks after the event, news about the device's official price, pre-order date and United States release date has emerged.

Fans who are eager to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 can place their pre-order starting March 17, according to SlashGear. The recently unveiled tablet is going to be priced at $599.99 and will be available at Best Buy, Amazon and Samsung's official website.

Tech enthusiasts who want to buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 in stores, unfortunately, will have to wait a bit longer. The news outlet has reported that the new flagship installment will come out in several retail stores on March 24.

Judging by the specifications sheet, it seems like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is going to be put in the high-end market. As said on Droid Report, the new tablet will boasts a 9.7-inch HDR AMOLED screen with 2048x1536 Quad HD display resolution. It will run using Qualcomm's current-generation high-end chip, the Snapdragon 820, and backed with 4 GB of RAM with 32 GB of internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will come with a memory expansion feature via its MicroSD slot, which can be expanded up to 256 GB. It also comes with a rather standard 13 megapixel camera on its back - as the main - and 5 MP for the front-facing snapper.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will have a USB Type-C port along with a fast charging technology. The new tablet will run using Google's current operating system version, Android 7.0 Marshmallow, right out of the box. And lastly, the device is going to be powered by a seemingly large battery capacity of 6,000mAh and will come with an improved S Pen.
