This week, fans of ABC network's medical drama television series, "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 is going to witness another dose of drama and emotions as episode 17 is on its way. Several updates and spoilers have already been emerging online, containing the anticipated scenarios and events to happen on the upcoming episode.

On the previous episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13, viewers saw Jesse Williams' character, Jackson Avery, and Sarah Drew's April Kepner traveling to Montana for a complex surgery needed by a patient. April had to do something for Jackson to focus on what he was doing because he seemed to be bothered about something. It was later revealed that Jackson found his father and unable to tell April right away because his father does not know he exists.

On the upcoming episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13, it has been reported that the drama will turn to Ellen Pompeo's character Meredith Grey and Martin Henderson's Nathan Riggs. Promotional photos have already been officially released and TV Fanatic reported that one of those consists more relationship drama involving the two characters.

During an interview, actor Martin Henderson spoke about how he loves portraying his character on "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 and on the previous season. He said that the mystery Nathan has brought to the show since day one has impacted him so much as an actor. Henderson added that his character's opposite, Meredith has done Nathan big so far on the show and that she makes him a great man.

Meanwhile, according to TV Line, the episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 after this week is going to be directed by the series' star Ellen Pompeo herself. The actress said that she was a little bit confident doing her directorial debut on the series knowing that she has been on the show for thirteen complete seasons.

Additionally, the actress said that the story line for the upcoming episode after this week for "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 will contain tear-jerking and very emotional scenes in which she said would surely make fans and viewers cry. Because of this, a possible death from the characters has been speculated but the actress refused to spill more details. It's reportedly going to be something to look forward in the upcoming episodes.
