"IT" is an adaptation of the novel by Stephen King with the same title. It already had a small screen adaptation in the 1990's. The kids at Derry, Maine are haunted by a clown named Pennywise according to Comic Book.

Screenrant reported that Stephen King already saw the "IT" reboot and had approved of it. The trailer that has its teaser revealed will go online tomorrow. The film still follows how the kids are being taken by the scary clown in the neighborhood.

The "IT" reboot will be played by Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise. He is known for his roles in "Allegiant" and "Hemlock Grove." The film also stars Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis and Finn Wolfhard.

Additional stars to be in the film "IT" are Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Nicholas Hamilton. The reboot is directed by Andres Muschietti. Stephen King's novel of the same title was released in 1986.

Seven children are being focused in the film "IT." They are being terrorized by a clown. The form of a clown is easier to entice children since it resembles happiness and playfulness. These children are also being haunted by childhood trauma and they are easy to prey on by the villain.

"IT" is the 22nd book written by Stephen King. This is not the first book by the author that has been adapted into a film. In fact, King's book "The Dark Tower" will have an upcoming film. "IT" is set to air on Sept. 8.
