Katy Perry is known for surprising fans with her colorful and playful performance, but this time, they have stunned them in another way. The "Roar" singer has given her patrons an unexpected dessert while inside a truck.

Orlando Bloom's former girl was in the middle of the crowd in Times Square Friday, giving some cherry pie. She did this all this while waving and smiling to everyone inside a cherry pie truck.

According to People, the crowd was all pleased with what she did, taking their phones out and took unlimited snaps of Katy. Soon after, photos and videos flooded the social media.

Katy also took her chance to post a photo on her Instagram account. The snap features the back of the pie truck with a caption: "I'M OPEN 24"

The 32-year-old singer who sported a short blonde hair has spent most of her time promoting "Bon Appétit," her latest single. The new song will feature the American hip hop group Migos, as Billboard cited.

Meanwhile, the "Hot N Cold" hitmaker has teased fans with a photo of the "World's Best Cherry Pie" recipe. It contains the ingredients for the golden crust and juicy filling and the step-by-step direction. The caption says "Bake me a pie and you may get a surprise."

While some KatyCats have thought of it as nothing but a simple recipe, some fans assumed a deeper meaning of it. Apparently, they think of it as a lyrics of an upcoming song. "This pie is gonna hit that sweet tooth, boy" and "calm those hungry eyes" are just some of the words that obviously sound like more of a lyrics.

As of now, speculations are yet to be confirmed. Until then, what fans can do is sit back, relax and enjoy a sweet slice of their cherry pie.
