Last night on the Dancing With The Stars grand finale, football star Rashad Jennings was crowned the season 24 winner, beating Cubs legend David Ross, who finished in second place. In a season full of shocking results, the most surprising elimination came courteous of finale night, where fan favorite Fifth Harmony member, Normani Kordei's hopes of winning were cut short and she finished in third place. Aside fromthe results, the finale also showcased reunion performances from past eliminated contestants.

When asked on Good Morning America earlier today whether he thought dancing was harder than playing football, Jennings said the answer is easy. "It's definitely harder because it's something we don't do on the daily. I've never been in frame. I thought a frame was a picture frame. It was way harder than football."

"I think honestly for us it was just our friendship," Jenning's coach, Emma Slater said on the secret to their success. "We're really really close friends, and I trusted him so much. I really depended on him because he was so positive, his work ethic. It was all Rashad."

Reception to Jenning's win has been mixed so far. While many are happy for his success, a lot of hate has been thrown at second place finisher Ross for beating out Kordei. Ross had consistently been receiving lower scores than both Jennings and Kordei, and the fact that he even reached finale night was a shock to many. For the Fifth Harmony fanbase, their outrage that Kordei didn't at least take second place is still palpable on social media today.

Before the results were announced, the two-and-a-half-hour finale also showcased reunion performances between past eliminated contestants and their dancing instructors. The most memorable reunion performance came from the opening number, where all of the pairs from the season shared the stage for a huge group dance.

Dancing With The Stars will return to television for season 25 this coming fall on its home network of ABC. The cast announcement for the season is still pending.
