Season 12 of America's Got Talent premiered on Tuesday and the show is already heating up. Judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, along with the addition of Tyra Banks, created a welcoming atmosphere.

As for the talent, there were several acts that stood out from the rest. The first round of contestants set high standards for the ones upcoming. Below is a list of the top three acts that stood out the most from the first night.


1- Darci Lynne- The young ventriloquist knocked her performance out of the park. Compared to the other contestants of the night, the 12-year-old's performance video had the most views on Youtube. After earning the first Golden Buzzer, it seems likely that she will be in the competition for the long run. 

2- Merrick Hanna- Merrick Hanna, 12, performed an emotional dance that made people believe he is one of the best this season. His performance video was trending on Youtube, which gives the young dancer a hopeful outlook to remain in the competition.

3- Will Tsai- 33-year-old, Will Tsai, might just be a wizard. Performing a mind-boggling magic act, Tsai received strong praises from all the judges. The fact that his Youtube video currently has over a million views helps solidify his position as one of the front runners.

America's Got Talent returns next week on Tuesday at 8 p.m. for its second round of auditions.
