Although Luther is still a ways away from its return in the fall for Season 3, BBC One's hit TV series continues to garner increasing interest for its upcoming installment.

Fortunately for its loyalists, a new video trailer has just been launched.  The respective teaser features John Luther (Idris Elba) alongside DS Justin Ripley (Warren Brown), DSU Martin Schenk (Dermot Crowley), Benny Silver (Michael Smiley), and Alice Morgan (Ruth Wilson), as they'll all come back to reprise their characters.

Luther appears to be getting a new love interest following his heartbreak from the loss of Zoe in the first season.  However, fans of his most recent relationship with Alice may be disappointed to know that it isn't her.

They'll also be a former cop in the upcoming season that'll be looking to take out Luther.  The antagonist will be played by The Departed's David O'Hara, who will don the role of DSU George Stark.  The Scottish actor's role is defined as that of a '"witch finder' whose nickname is 'The Grand Inquisitor,'" according to Screenrant.
