Llanview is about to be shaken up by a subpoena, shelter and a gun shot this week on One Life To live.

Natalie is served a subpoena in the June 11 episode, according to She Knows About Soaps. That same day, Bo and Nora plan a family dinner that is to include bickering parents Matthew and Destiny and their son. Across town, Todd gives Blair a heads up about a plan that he is working on while a shot is fired.

The action picks up on the next episode, which is set to air Thursday on Hulu. Todd investigates what happened outside of Shelter. Matthew is also ready to take his relationship with Michelle to the next level as his mother Nora is surprised by who calls into her radio show, The Nightbird.

The drama on screen is not all the fans have been privy to. It was announced last week that OLTL and sister soap All My Children would go on early hiatus on June 6. The shows ended production a week early because of a labor dispute between Propsect Park and the labor union representing the actors on the soap operas. If a new agreement is not reached, the shows could be in jeopardy.

Robin Strasser, who portrays Dorian, took to her hotline on June 6 to address the controversy. She asked the fans not to direct their ire at Prospect Park, which purchased the soap operas after they were canceled by ABC in 2011. The shows began airing again online in April.

"So anger placed at them is misplaced. Absolutely misplaced, alright?" she said. "Those two wonderful men (Rich Frank and Jeff Kwatinetz) have a set up where they can produce shows, entertainment and create jobs and let's all say 'Thank you.' "

Strasser's thoughts can be heard by calling into her hotline at 212-414-5300.
