Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are going strong eight months into their romance.

According to a new report, the couple is stronger than ever as they continue to enjoy spending time with one another in New York City.

"They're rock solid and very happy together," a source told Us Weekly magazine on September 5.

Gomez and The Weeknd went public with their relationship in January of this year and enjoyed a dinner date at Carbone restaurant on Saturday, September 2.

"They looked very much in love and very affectionate," an eyewitness told the magazine.

Following their date at Carbone, Gomez graciously posed for a few photos with fans outside of the venue while her boyfriend stood nearby and smiled.

According to the report, Gomez and The Weeknd have been in the Big Apple for the past few days as Gomez prepares to begin production on the new Woody Allen movie.

"Abel came to support Selena this week in her transition to NYC," the source said.

Months ago, Gomez opened up about her relationship.

"I'm the kind of girl that loves tremendously big. I just have always been that girl," Gomez gushed during an interview Power 96.5FM in May. "I will give my heart and my soul to the person that I love. It's just how I operate."

After going public with one another in January after a dinner date at Santa Monica's Giorgio Baldi restaurant, Gomez and The Weeknd began traveling together as he embarked on his "Starboy: Legend of the Fall" Tour, which kicked off earlier this year in Amsterdam.

Months after confirming their relationship, Gomez and The Weeknd made their red carpet debut at the 2017 Met Gala.
