Katie Holmes, 38, and Jamie Foxx, 49, went public with their romance earlier this week in Malibu, California, after facing allegations of a relationship for over four years and now, fans are wondering if Foxx is close to Holmes' 11-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise.

According to a new report, Holmes' only child is not only close to her boyfriend, but also a main reason that the actress is so into Foxx.

“Katie is attracted to Jamie partly because he is so caring to her daughter Suri,” an insider told Hollywood Life on September 6. “Jamie treats Suri like one of his own daughters and is always singing silly songs to her and making her laugh and smile.”

Luckily, Suri is just as impressed with Foxx and loves spending time with the singer and actor.

“Suri thinks Jamie is really funny and she loves when he is around.”

As fans of Foxx may know, he already has two daughters from a previous relationship, Corinne Bishop, 23, and Annalise Bishop, 8.

“Suri has also met Jamie’s daughters and likes to play with his younger daughter too. They all get along great which is huge for Katie, she loves it,” the source added.

While Holmes' former husband, Tom Cruise, has reportedly not seen Suri in a whopping four years, Foxx was seen stepping out with Holmes and Suri last week in Los Angeles. That said, Holmes and Foxx's relationship debut earlier this week did not include the child and last week, despite being in the same place at the same time, Foxx and Suri were not photographed together.
