While the countdown is on until the return of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, the real-life drama in star Jesse Williams’ life could finally be coming to an end.

Fans were shocked when Williams filed for divorce from his longtime wife, Aryn Drake-Lee earlier this year. At the same time, there was also speculation that he had already moved on with actress Minka Lee. After an ugly and very public custody battle over Lee and Williams’s two children, they have finally come to an agreement. And of course there’s a clause in there for women like Lee who might be getting extra close and cozy with the actor.

Good news for both Lee and Williams is that a judge granted them joint custody of the kids, TMZ reported Wednesday. On top of that, the parents are not allowed to speak negatively about the other one in front of the children at all.

Then comes the clause that is rumored to be an indirect message for Kelly.

Neither parent “shall introduce a person whom he or she has a romantic relationship to the children until the relationship has endured at least 6 months.”

While the battle started off pretty ugly and rocky, it looks like they were able to come to a conclusion for the well-being of their little ones.

During the legal fight, Lee accused Williams of prioritizing his “schedule” and career over their children. She also asked that Williams be ordered not to share anymore photos of their children, who are two and three, on social media, and accused him of using their children to

It’s no secret that fans went off on Williams after he filed for divorce from his wife. She was never one to be out in the public eye and was labeled as an everyday looking woman compared Williams’s counterparts and Hollywood A-listers. She was also with him long before we came to know and love him as the hottie Jackson Avery on Grey’s Anatomy.

Williams responded via one of his representatives who said, “These are matters for the court to decide. Jesse has been working tirelessly to maintain his bond with their children and it is important to note that the dramatizations made in Aryn’s declaration are a one-sided account made with a specific goal in mind. The judge is fully informed on both sides of the story and will be making the final decision.”

But nonetheless, they decided to go their separate ways five years after they said their “I Do's.”
