Just three months after the arrival of George and Amal Clooney's twins, Ella and Alexander, friends of the human rights attorney are reportedly suspecting that the 39-year-old is pregnant yet again.

"[She] has the same symptoms she had when she learned she was pregnant the first time," a close friend of Amal's revealed to Life & Style magazine on September 20. "She's eating like crazy and is more emotional than normal."

According to the report, George was acting quite protective of his wife during their recent red carpet appearance in Venice, Italy, and that may have been due to her alleged pregnancy.

"During her first pregnancy, Amal barely showed for the first several months, and was active and working right up until a few weeks before the birth. But she was tired a lot and had trouble getting to a healthy baby weight," the source continued.

"Amal's been loving going out to dinner while the family has been in Italy over the summer," the insider added. "She's craving pasta, risotto, and Margherita pizza. At times, it seems like she could be eating for three!"

OB-GYN Dr. Pari Ghodsi also spoke to Life & Style magazine, revealing that having twins a second time would be possible for the couple.

"Having twins once does increase your chances of having them again," he explained.

During a recent interview, George spoke of his new life as a married man with two babies.

"Now my house is filled with the warm sounds of babies crying," he said in an interview. "You should see when my friends show up and see me change a diaper, the laughter that comes from them. I go, 'I know, I know.' I've given them so much s**t for so many years, I deserve every bit of it."
