Just when it seemed like Jesse Williams and his future ex-wife, Aryn Drake-Lee were reaching a level of civilization with their divorce, reports have surfaced that the two aren’t even allowed to communicate with each other now.

Well, they can only chat through an app apparently.

The exes, who announced their divorce five years after tying the knot, are only allowed to speak with the Our Family Wizard app, In Touch Weekly reported Wednesday. They have two children, Sadie, 3, and Maceo, 2. It looks like a judge ruled on the order under the impression this was the best way to communicate.

The publication obtained a temporary custody agreement that reads, “the parents shall use Our Family Wizard for all communications regarding the children’s health, education and welfare.”

The only exception for Williams and Lee to speak outside of the app is if it’s an absolute emergency.

The agreement also includes a clause that neither party can, “make derogatory remarks about the other parent” with the two children around.

The papers were submitted ot the LA Superior Court on Sept. 1.

This speculation follows reports that Williams has already moved on with actress Minka Kelly after he filed for divorce from Lee earlier this summer. While Willams and Kelly are said to have been spotted getting extra close before he actually filed, insiders say Williams and Lee were separated for more than a year.

During the custody battle, Williams accused Lee of “punishing” him for working so tirelessly on the hit series, ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy.

“Aryn uses the fact that I work to support our family to marginalize me as a parent,” he said in court documents obtained by PEOPLE recently. “I am in my 9th year on ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ The structure and demands of my work schedule are the same as they were when we were married and when we decided to have wonderful children. Working full time did not keep me from being a doting parent then and it should not now. When ‘Grey’s’ is on hiatus (approximately April through late July), it is still my responsibility to earn an income, provide for our famly and further my career.”

He went on to say that his “hard work has allowed” Lee the chance to not only stay at home with their two children, but hire a nanny.

“She is now punishing me for providing that privilege.”
