Lisa Vanderpump‘s beloved dog Pink tragically died in Los Angeles on Tuesday after reportedly suffering a heart attack.

According to a new report, a source close to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has confirmed that the six-year-old Pomeranian collapsed suddenly and began to bleed from her mouth as Vanderpump's husband, Ken Todd, looked on helplessly.

On September 27, Radar Online's insider revealed that Todd had attempted to perform CPR en route to his pup's vetenarian, but unfortunately, he was unable to save the dog.

At the time, Vanderpump was out of her home and filming the opening titles for the upcoming sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“Ken called Lisa at work and she could just hear him crying,” the source told Radar, adding that Todd brought Pink's body to Vanderpump’s set after she had passed.

“Lisa was hysterical and cuddled her dog, not believing she was dead,” the source said.

Following the animal's arrival, Kyle Richards, Vanderpump's co-star and friend, attempted to comfort her but she was far too upset to continue filming.

“Lisa knows she is only one little dog, but she was their little baby,” the insider added. “Now, she remains dedicated to trying to save dogs worldwide through the Vanderpump Dog Foundation.”

Vanderpump spoke of the sad news on her Instagram and shared an image of the dog.

In the caption, she told fans, "Rest in peace Pink Dog, we are devastated to see you go so suddenly... you were such a happy pink dog and we will miss you dreadfully, we love you."

Lisa Vanderpump and her co-stars, including Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Lisa Vanderpump, and Dorit Kemsley are expected to return to Bravo TV later this year for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season eight.
