Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright: Did They Break Up After Taking Kentucky? [VIDEO]

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are still together.

Although the couple faced hardships during the debut season of Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky, Taylor said that they were "happy" during an interview earlier this week.

"We're still happy and we're still together," he revealed to The Daily Dish on September 27. "When she came home it was kind of like [we can] start fresh, clean slate, start over."

As for whether or not things changed for the better after filming between himself and Cartwright, Taylor wasn't so sure.

"I don't know if it really changed it much. You know, I'm a very easy person. I'll try anything once," he said. "I went out to her farm. I worked on her farm. I went to church. They asked me to do anything [and] I'll do it. I donated money to her family. I don't know what else I could have done. So as far as, did [it] change anything — I don't know. I don't think it really changed much. We argued. We fought a little bit. I guess that's normal. That's a relationship, I guess."

During another interview, Taylor admitted to feeling pressure to propose from Cartwright's family during production.

“I love her family to death, but as soon as I landed I was getting questioned,” Taylor told Us Weekly magazine. “And you have to remember this show was filmed about a year ago and we were only dating for a year and a half, so I'm getting a lot of heat here.”

“We are together,” he continued. “We do spend a lot of time together because Vanderpump is, like, five months of filming, so we play together, sleep together, eat together, so it’s a lot."
