Although Game of Thrones' beauty Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) will surely have her work cut out for her filming the HBO cable program's upcoming fourth season, that hasn't prevented her from resurfacing as a strong candidate for the role of Anastasia Steele.

The 25-year-old's TV character started on the period piece as a young girl without much maturity, but went on to develop into a powerful woman.

While her current character may have more initiative overall than the shy, college graduate Anastasia Steele, the latter does grow into a more confident woman, much like Clarke's Game of Thrones character.

In the past Clarke had stated that she's not too fond of doing nude work. However, she may be more than willing to do it if it makes sense for the role, which is what would certainly be required to play the risqué part of Steele.

Since Game of Throne is no stranger to exploiting sexuality, the part of Ana wouldn't be anything foreign to the actress. Being that Clarke is mostly known for her work on cable TV, a 50 Shades casting could serve to broaden her horizons in the film industry.

Although E.L. James and the production team have yet to officially attach a director to the franchise, 50 Shades of Grey is slated for its big screen release in summer of 2014, and will be shot in London.
