Kelly Clarkson recently graced James Corden's The Late Late Show segment, "Carpool Karaoke," and was surprised by her husband Brandon Blackstock's appearance.

On Wednesday's episode, Clarkson jammed with Corden for the first few minutes of the show. However, the highlight of over 10-minute installment aired midway through the segment. Blackstock suddenly rode Corden's car and Clarkson didn't expect to see her husband there.

While Clarkson and Corden sang and talked, Blackstock simply listened to them. He and his wife also enjoyed a glass of champagne as though they were on an actual date together. Blackstock, who also happens to be Clarkson's manager, even said that he feels he's making porn with his wife since there are cameras everywhere.

Prior to her appearance on The Late Late Show, Clarkson asked her social media followers to tune in to Wednesday's "Carpool Karaoke" episode. She shared a photo of herself hugging Corden on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Clarkson and Corden also performed some of the singer's biggest hits. First off was "Since You Been Gone," which was released in 2004. Corden praised his guest's beautiful voice after hearing her sing live.

The funny host told Clarkson that he thinks she can make anything sound nice as well. Clarkson said that she just tries her best all the time, but she doesn't always sound as good as Corden thinks.

In order to test her singing chops, Corden asked Clarkson to sing a random phrase, which she did so beautifully.

The two also sang "Love So Soft," and the award-winning singer surprisingly missed a few words from the lyrics of her own song. However, Clarkson sang "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" without missing a beat.

Clarkson and Corden also talked about nursery rhymes, which the American Idol alum admitted she loves. Clarkson sang a tune for Corden where he hilariously pretended to be falling asleep. Clarkson grabbed Corden's arms and woke him up.

Kelly Clarkson's Biggest Dream

Other than singing and laughing nonstop, Clarkson also revealed that she didn't always want to become a singer. When she was younger, the 35-year-old dreamed of becoming a dancer or a marine biologist. Corden couldn't believe that Clarkson wanted to become a marine biologist, but the singer said that it has always been her lifelong dream.

The comedian told Clarkson that there's another singer who also wants to become a marine biologist and tells her, "Seal." It took Clarkson about two seconds that Corden was joking and the two ended up laughing again.
