Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix spoke of marraige during the finale episode of Vanderpump Rules season five. However, despite Sandoval's apparent desire to wed, the pair isn't quite ready to walk down the aisle — and they may never be.

During a new interview, Sandoval spoke to Los Angeles Confidential about the start of his relationship with Madix, revealing that they first became romantic during a trip to Napa Valley.

"We had such a good time, and we just got so much closer after that trip. So we looked at that moment as the first one where we really were like, 'Yes, we want this to be a thing. We want to be together,'" he explained.

Sandoval and Madix, who both work as bartenders at SUR Restaurant, began dating after filming the second season of Vanderpump Rules. As fans of the series may recall, Sandoval was newly single after splitting from Kristen Doute after accusing her of cheating. While Doute later admitted to sleeping with Sandoval's co-star and friend, Jax Taylor, she insisted she was not unfaithful to Sandoval during their relationship and accused him of cheating on her.

While Sandoval and Doute's relationship was plagued by drama, he and Madix seem much healthier. Still, when it comes to talks of marriage, Sandoval said he is a bit scared to put a label on the love he shares with Madix.

"I think, even with marriage, the labels will add a lot of pressure because you start using phrases such as 'until death do us part,' or “forever,' 'until the end of time,' 'as long as I live,' and it’s a grim way of looking at a relationship versus just taking it as a day at a time," he explained.

As for Madix, she's said for years that she doesn't have the desire to get married, nor does she plan on welcoming any children. As fans may recall, the reality star spoke to Lisa Vanderpump about the issue during the fourth season of the show.
