On The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Season 5, Episode 3), Jacqueline Laurita was surprised to hear some of the things Teresa's friends had to say about her -- and now she is firing back. 

During the episode, Giudice's friend Linda Burger made fun of Laurita's weight, making crude comments that Laurita hasn't seen a gym in over months. 

The Housewives star penned a note for Burger in her June 16 blog for Bravo, writing: "Linda, so sorry my 'ass' isn't to your liking, (Chris loves it), but I've been kinda busy the last few months doing research and trying to recover my child, raising Autism awareness, starting a new business, keeping up with my house, while still focusing on my family and friends."  

 "I wasn't putting the gym at the top of my priority list. I have a busy life," she added. "But hey, having a fit body CLEARLY isn't a gauge of how good of a person you are. Seeing as though some of your best friends are actually bigger in size than I am, I hope you didn't offend them by making them wonder if you judge them and what you say behind their backs, as they saw you do to me."

 "You told me you liked me and that you had nothing bad to say about me when talking to me, but your attitude about me seemed to change when speaking to Teresa. You may be strong, but you're obviously not strong enough to be your own person. Fall back, soldier! Try working on your heart muscle. It will make you much more appealing." 

Kathy Wakile also spoke out after being "fat-shamed" on the June 16 episode of the reality TV show.

Wakile, 47, blamed her curvy figure on bad genes, and lamented that she has to work out constantly and be vigilant about her diet or she'll instantly gain weight.

"I wasn't born with the skinny gene," Kathy blogged June 16. "I have always had to watch what I eat, exercise at least five to six times a week, and stick to a routine just to maintain. Unfortunately, like so many other women, as soon as I don't, I put on weight."

Wakile was upset after Linda, a super-fit friend of co-star Teresa Giudice, commented, "I didn't even know [Kathy] knew how to walk, she's so fat." 

While the fat insult was harsh, it bears noting that Wakile repeatedly referred to Linda as a "skinny b*tch" while chatting at the gym with co-stars Laurita and Melissa Gorga. 

The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
