Camille Grammer beat endometrial cancer in 2013 after undergoing a radical hysterectomy. On Wednesday, she revealed she had been diagnosed with cancer for a second time.

Just days before the season 8 premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Grammer revealed the shocking news to her fans and followers on Instagram and shared a photo of herself at a Los Angeles hospital with one of her doctors.

In her post, Grammer confirmed she had been diagnosed with “squamous cell carcinoma.”

"Thank you Dr. Beth karlan for removing those pesky cancer cells. You are Amazing! This is my second cancer diagnoses. Thank God We found it early," she wrote on Dec. 13.

Grammer's photo was taken at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, California, which is about 45 minutes away from her home in Malibu.

"Early detection is key," Grammer continued. "My cancer was removed and I'm resting at home. Ladies listen to your bodies. If something doesn't seem right go for a checkup. Don't put it off. Annual check ups are important."

Grammer has been extremely open about her cancer diagnoses online, but when it comes to her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it has been extremely limited in recent years. As fans of the show will recall, Grammer was one of the six original cast members of the Bravo TV show when it premiered in October 2010 but left the show ahead of its third season.

When Grammer first began starring on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she was married to Kelsey Grammer of Frasier. After it was revealed that he had engaged in a months-long affair with British flight attendant Kayte Walsh, they divorced. Grammer and her ex-husband share two children, daughter Mason Olivia and son Jude Gordon.

As for her love life now, Grammer is currently engaged to Los Angeles-based attorney David C. Meyer. As fans may have seen, Grammer confirmed the news with her fans and followers on Twitter before sharing an image of herself and Meyer on Instagram, along with her engagement ring on full-display.
